The CG Team V-RAY NEWS New V-Ray 3.2 for 3ds Max is VR-Ready V-Ray 3.2 for 3ds Max is now available. This free update adds two new VR camera types, so you can now render your scenes and view them on popular VR headsets such as the Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR. There’s also a host of V-Ray RT GPU improvements, and additions to volume rendering, global illumination, and geometry. V-RAY STORIES Customer Spotlight: Edithouse Volvo called on Swedish production studio Edithouse to create the launch film for its Concept XC Coupe. The result is a dramatic and beautiful film which convincingly envisages a car which will never exist outside a computer. Educational Spotlight: Roommate Wanted See how this graduation team used a unique fusion of squidgy modelling clay and cutting-edge CG to bring a zombie to life. Featured Podcast: Mackevision While at FMX we had a great conversation with Jörn Großhans, VFX Supervisor and Christian Zilliken the CG Supervisor at Mackevision.
