A letter from our CEO

Shutterstock Offset Opens to the Public About nine months ago we started on a project we code-named "Opal." The goal was simple: reinvent the wheel for assignment-quality imagery. We created a small task force at Shutterstock—researching customer needs, building out a new website, and working with a select group of assignment photographers and high-end illustrators from which we would curate images to be offered under this new brand. Fast-forward a few months, and we have what we believe is one of the most extraordinary, thoughtful image collections anywhere. This site is easy to explore and licensing is transparent ($250 for small images and $500 for large). We've named this new brand "Offset" to celebrate creativity that's unique and different – off set from the rest. I'm pleased to share that Offset.com is officially open to the public. I invite you to take a look around, discover fresh, narrative work by some of the most talented creators in the world. A few of my favorites are aerial photos by Christian Garibaldi, landscapes and wildlife by Martin Bailey, and intricate illustrations by Ivary. We hope you like what you see and welcome any feedback as we continue to develop our newest brand and image collection, from the creators of Shutterstock. Sincerely, Jon OringerFounder/CEOShutterstock, Inc.
