I want to honour him! APJ Abdul Kalam was the President of India, a brilliant scientist and most importantly an inspiring leader who believed in educating and empowering the youth of India. I want to celebrate this great man’s life and his immense contribution to India. That is why I have started this petition asking for APJ Abdul Kalam’s Alma Mater the Madras Institute of Technology to be renamed in his honour. But I feel that we also need to celebrate him, his legacy and honour him. Kalam served our nation, he served us and never asked for anything in return.
