We are reaching out to you for a position of 3D Modelor position .
We are a global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry,with a focus on deep water applications. Through the use of its applied technology expertise,we also serve the defense and aerospace industries.
MAIN PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF JOB:
Animation and project management of animation and graphic designing projects, encompassing activities from initial contact with clients through concept design via the use of advanced animation, graphic designing and compositing software, 2D and 3D modelling, rigging of complex assemblies, managing materials, advanced lighting, scene and environment preparation, advanced rendering, compositing, to completion of associated documentation and project procedures.
MAIN ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather and study the relevant project information. Understand deliverable requirements.
Take ownership of animation / graphic design projects from start to completion.
Create project documentation including the design templates, standards, style guides, technical specifications, straw models, and pilot materials.
Create high quality 2D and 3D animations backed with engineering design.
Create storyboards that depict the script and narrative;
Drawing in 2D to create sketches, artwork or illustrations;
Designing models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects and the animation environment;
Developing the timing and pace of the movements of a character or object during the sequence of images (called the animatic) and ensuring they follow the soundtrack and audio requirements;
Building up accurate, detailed frame-by-frame visuals;
Working with editors to composite the various layers of animation (backgrounds, special effects, characters and graphics) in order to produce the finished piece
Collaborates and communicates with other animators, designers, and graphic artists.
Creation of 3D Character modelling, rigging and animation.
Creates graphics, animations and videos for e-learning and marketing.
Ability to Design Logos, Brochures, etc.
Ability to function as a creative self-starter and to work independently.
Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
Creativity tempered with an understanding of the intended audience, client culture, and learning preferences.
Ability and willingness to adapt to a dynamic set of standards and tools.
Work in team and participate in all aspects of planning, and production of animation, including project control such as cost control, scheduling, and conducting reviews and risk assessments.
Providing guidance & mentoring to less experienced members of the team.
Preparation of quotations, proposals and marketing materials for engineering projects and related equipment.
Monitor the changes in the requirements and update the product life cycle/process.
Participate in regular teleconference meetings with counterparts in US and other locations.
Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress;
Completes projects on time and budget.
Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems
QUALIFICATION:
* Bachelor degree or equivalent level of competence in fine arts/Animation Discipline
* Master degree in fine arts /Multimedia / Animation Discipline
