Add your personality to the new Windows

Email Right from Start The new Windows is all about you. Whether it's your favorite colours, contacts, apps or websites, you'll easily be able to pin and move them on your Start screen, just how you want. That way, you'll see what you care about most as soon as you sign in to your device. Resize your tiles Press and hold or right-click the tile to select it. Then tap or click Resize and then select the size you want. Helpful tip: To move a tile around, just press and hold then drag (or click and drag) it into place. Pin apps to your Start screen Now you can put the things you love most right on your Start screen, by pinning them. To pin an app, first swipe up from the middle of your Start screen (or click the down arrow near the lower-left corner of Start) to see all your apps. Then press and hold (or right-click) the app you'd like to pin, and tap or click Pin to Start. Helpful tip: Apps aren't the only thing you can pin to your Start screen. You can also pin your favourite contacts and websites. Just look for the pin icon . Change your look Personalise your Start screen From Start, open the Settings charm and tap or click Personalise. Now, choose the colour and background combination you like most. Choose a lock screen From PC settings, now pinned to the Start screen, tap or click PC & devices. Then, choose the lock screen background that you want. Helpful tip: You can also add a fun slideshow by turning the option on in your lock screen settings. Create an account picture From PC settings, tap or click Accounts. Then tap or click Browse to choose a photo from your device files, or use the Camera or People icon to create a new one.
