Set up mail in the new Windows

Email Even multiple accounts With the mail app, you can check several email accounts in one place. So, whether it’s Outlook.com, Gmail, Yahoo! or your work email, you’ll be good to go with the new Windows. Open the Mail app settings From your Start screen, tap or click the Mail tile. Then open the Settings charm. Add an email account From Settings, tap or click Accounts, and then tap or click Add an account. Tap or click the type of account you'd like to add. Then enter the email address and password for your account, and tap or click Connect. To add more email accounts, just repeat these steps. Do more with your email Every app in the new Windows comes with a set of controls called app commands. For example, when you open the Mail app, they are moved from view so you have more space on screen to see your emails. To see the app commands, just swipe in from the top or bottom edge of your screen. Sync Your inbox will always update automatically, but if you want to make sure you've received your latest email, just open the app commands and tap or click Sync. Folder options Creating a folder to organise your inbox is easy, just open the app commands, tap or click Folder options, then tap or click New Folder. Move To move a message into a folder, simply drag and drop it to the folder you want, or open the app commands, tap or click Move, then tap or click the folder you want to move it to. Pin to Start To place a folder on the Start screen, just tap or click the folder you'd like to pin, open your app commands, then tap or click Pin to Start.
