Justice Markandey Katju exposes that he requested the Chief Justice of India, Justice RC Lahoti, to get a secret IB inquiry made about an additional judge of the Madras high court against whom there were several allegations of corruption. According to Markandey Katju, IB found enough material about the judge's corruption. So he assumed he would be discontinued as a judge of the high court, however, the party in Tamil Nadu strongly objected it and what actually happened was that he got another one year's appointment as an additional judge.
